Java Developer & Java Web Developer

Place of work would be at the premises of Netelek (Pty) Ltd, 10 Devon Valley Rd, Stellenbosch. Positions are to be filled as soon as possible.

The following positions are available in the Software Development Department. Candidates must have the necessary qualifications:

Java Web Developer:

  • Solid development experience in J2EE, Servlets and EJB.
  • Solid experience using Web services, XML and other related standards.
  • Experience in HTML, XHTML, CSS, JSP, JSF and JavaScript.
  • Exposure to Eclipse/Netbeans, JAVA,
  • Exposure to mainstream Open Source products such as Log4J, and JUnit.
  • Understand design and coding patterns.
  • Exposure to Linux and Windows environments.

Java Developer :

  • Relevant degree or diploma in IT
  • 3 to 5 years Development experience
  • J2EE, EJB3, Grails, Groovy, Web services, Hibernate and HTML
  • JBoss Application Server, Developer Studio and Eclipse
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Exposure to Eclipse/Netbeans, JAVA, • Exposure to mainstream Open Source products such as Log4J, and JUnit.
  • Understand design and coding patterns.
  • Exposure to Linux and Windows environments.
